About Us
BrixRuns
Our mission is to run, help local shelters and animal rescue leagues through donations, and then to drink or socialize and build a community. We started in 2019 with the idea that while people are always willing to donate items for animals in need, it's not always feasible to drop off one leash, or one bag of food at a time. BrixRuns has created a way to facilitate these small individual donations into larger, regular donations for local shelters and rescue leagues.
We continue to grow, so if you’re feeling inspired or are looking for a running community with no judgement, lots of dogs, and terrible jokes, we’d love to have ya!
Meara
Meara, a former Wine Consultant, has been an athlete through most of her life, playing soccer and running track. She is a full time mom to a rambunctious 3 year old and lives with her family in Pawtucket, RI.
Mr. Brix
Brix is a Border Collie / Vizsla mix with expressive eyes and a heart full of anxiety. He loves the beach, but is afraid of the water. He knows all his best friends by name, and needs to be tucked into bed every night. He’s happiest on a chilly but sunny day in late fall.
